Author of the Setanta Ireland Sports Book of the Year nominated ‘Relentless – The Inside Story of the Cork Ladies Footballers’.

Worked as a full-time news sub-editor for nine years with the Evening Echo in Cork city, and freelanced in sport for 15 years – with both the Echo and its sister paper, the Irish Examiner. Now working with Forbes 100 company Johnson Controls, I continue to freelance in my spare time.

I hold a Degree in Business Studies (Marketing), a Diploma in Public Relations, a Diploma in Journalism, and a Diploma in Digital Marketing, and a FETAC Level 5 qualification in Radio Broadcasting Production.

I’ve been lucky enough to have represented my county at the highest level in three different sports – ladies football, basketball and soccer – and also represented Ireland at international level in tag rugby.

I’m a twin, home-owner and a part-time nana, who loves a good cup of coffee with a newspaper in hand!
